About Sergimmo Salumeria

At Sergimmo Salumeria, it’s always been about family, tradition, and great food.

Our story began in 1969, when our father immigrated from the small Sicilian town of Torretta, just outside Palermo, bringing with him generations of recipes, craftsmanship, and a deep love for authentic Italian cuisine.

Growing up in the food business, Sergio and Massimo developed a passion for quality ingredients and the art of creating unforgettable meals.

What started as a family tradition evolved into one of Hell’s Kitchen’s favorite lunch destinations — a place where authentic Italian flavors meet the energy of New York City.

As a traditional Paninoteca and Salumeria, every sandwich, espresso, and homemade specialty is prepared with care, precision, and heart. From freshly sliced imported meats and European cheeses to homemade mozzarella and our signature spreads, every ingredient reflects our commitment to authenticity.

Imported From Sicily

We proudly use our own imported Sicilian Extra Virgin Olive Oil — the foundation of many of our family recipes and a true taste of home.

The Art of the Panino

At Sergimmo’s, paninis are more than sandwiches — they’re an experience. Crafted on fresh bread and layered with premium Italian ingredients, our panini combine bold flavors, old-world tradition, and a modern New York attitude.

A True Italian Lunch Culture

In Sicily, lunch is more than a meal — it’s a way of life. We believe in slowing down, enjoying good food, strong espresso, and even better conversation. Whether it’s arancini, Nutella-filled pastries, fresh cannoli, or a perfectly made cappuccino, we’re here to bring that same warmth and comfort to every guest who walks through our doors.

From the kitchen to the counter, Sergimmo’s is built on passion, hospitality, and the traditions that continue to inspire us every day.

Lunch is served.

Cent’ Anni — Cheers!
